If you’ve been following me along my “doubt-filled and a-little-bit-confused” life journey – first of all, hi!!! and thanks, so great to have you here in my space. Second of all, I want to say: You can do it* too! *whatever that it might be. And you don’t need a freakin’ fancy anything plan to do it… All you really need to start is to be enthusiastic about it and believe that you can do it. Because if you don’t show your enthusiasm and belief in what you are doing, no one else will!
You can do it* too! And you don’t need a freakin’ fancy anything plan to do it..
Don’t get me wrong, I can totally get lost in the “how to’s” of things. “How to decorate your house.” “How to do business.” “How to travel.” “How to live purposefully.” “How to be yourself.” “How to marketing and business.” Need I go on?! The internet is full of “how to’s” that can help you with any dream or goal that you might have and people that tell you that you need a blueprint or a fancy as marketing or business or [fill in whatever] plan to become successful.
And it can be fascinating reading about how other people did things. But at the same time, it can all be so (over)whelming. That’s why I love what Ash recently said on her blog the Middle Finger Project that I’d like to share with you who’s starting that business (or trying to realise something else – big or small) :
“You don’t need fancy marketing, to begin with. The most important thing is genuine enthusiasm and belief in what you are doing.
Ashely Ambirge – The Middle Finger Project
And I believe this to be true for anything that you do in life, not just business. I felt way more peaceful and less overwhelmed when I read that. It made me realise again that in order to start doing, to allow yourself to explore, all you really need is enthusiasm and belief. This is what will keep you going.
“Just start talking everywhere.”
And you’ll automatically start talking about it because it just comes naturally to you. Because whatever it is you are doing fills you up with light and energy and it will spill out of you. And the right people will be affected by all that joy and conviction.
And it doesn’t have to be perfect – as long as it’s from the heart.
Now go and do it! Starting really is the hardest part.
Adventure Awaits!
Love,
Susanna
